Delays in bulk user actions and other background updates

Incident Report for Hoxhunt

Monitoring

Background processing has recovered and has been stable since 11:00 EET. The issue was caused by an unusually large batch of user updates that overloaded part of our background processing. Bulk actions in User Management and some other automatic updates were delayed for all customers between approximately 10:00 and 11:00 EET.

Delayed actions have been completed. Training content, phishing simulations, email reporting, and the admin portal were not affected, and no data was lost. If you ran a bulk action in User Management during that window, please verify the result and repeat it if some users were not updated. We are monitoring and will post a final update shortly.

Identified

We have identified the cause of delays affecting part of our background processing. Bulk actions performed in User Management, such as activating training for a group of users, may be delayed or appear incomplete. Some other automatic updates, for example notifications and progress updates for individual users, may also arrive later than usual.

Training content, phishing simulations, email reporting, and the admin portal itself are working normally. No data has been lost.

Our team is deploying a fix. Once it is in place, delayed actions will be processed automatically. We will confirm in our next update whether any bulk actions need to be repeated.

Investigating

We are investigating an issue in our system that causes bulk actions on users done via the User Management to be delayed or not to be processed at all. Our developers are looking for the cause and an immediate fix. We will provide updates once we have them available.
